Our funding body, the Nordic Joint Committee for Agricultural and Food Research (NKJ), has written about NADAS and our new course curriculum for agricultural data scientists.
The article covers our two specialist courses, Scientific computing using Julia language and Statistical methods in animal breeding, both taught with teachers and participants from several Nordic countries. It also highlights the network’s role as a bridge between academia and industry: colleagues from the business sector have approached us on their own initiative to take part.
We plan to run both courses again, with the content updated as the field moves.
